Khaya Dlanga’s life on the “internets”. All on one blog.

This is why I created this blog.

Well, well, well. I finally did it. My own blog. With almost everything I do on the internet. A lot of people have been asking me to put everything I do on one site. So I did it, because I’m that easy to push around.

You’ll find videos I make on YouTube, my cartoon strip (I work on it with Spike Kunene and Loyiso Madinga). I am also the designated artist, hence the rather naive drawing.

Another thing you’ll find are my writings on the political going ons in South Africa or around the world. So, you decided what you are here for: cartoons, Fun YouTube videos or serious ones or my foolish scribbling.

    Hi Khaya,
I feel for you. I read your story from the Mail and Guardian and really got emotional to know that this pain is being felt by many ANC lovers like you. I am not a SA Citizen, but I am an ANC supporter since COPE talked of dumping Affirmative Action. I am an African who has see similar situations in Africa, where the leaders betray their followers and are able to do terrible things just for them to maintain their lifestyle… That is COPE !!! Please, rejoin the ANC, and We will work Hard this time, for Service Delivery. I have now registered as an ANC member, and will make sure that our voice is heard. This time, it will be different. Watch us in 125 days, and you will tell what Zuma will be as a leader for the country. God Bless your Courage, SiyanGqoba !

    Hello Khaya,
I am white South African, and must say lately, specially with stronger and stronger BEE and AA, recently I was clearly victim of BEE I did not get position, because I am white, my stomach is turning around more and more with wrong things are happening around.
I am originally coming from Europe, from the country who was educating people from all around Africa for free, I was brought up to respect all races, as we are all equal. Never in my life I was profiting from being white, always respecting older people specially woman, as they are not respected at all in this country, some people are even collecting them, I heard some men got 5 or 6 wife’s, not that I am jealous, but to be faithful to one person (spouse)and to the fellow human. As a result of injustice happening around, I don’t know what to think anymore. I can see we are not equal anymore. And I don’t know, how nobody from all around World doesn’t do anything to stop this. Guy from Black Engineers society commented how whites think that BEE is racism. He also added that black people could chase white people in 1994 and they did not, as they took milder approach. So I suppose, chase but, slowly :)

Anyway, the reason why I am writing all this is not to bitch about situation in SA at the moment, but just to give you perspective about my thoughts, and more important, to give you thumbs up for the way you are thinking and talking. Khaya, you are the man, you have made my day today!!!
People are talking nonsense at the You Tube, where I seen your posts (I have seen 2 so far)and I think that you are great. It is stupid to be racist. Unfortunately not many people think like you do. MR Obama is one of the greatest speakers on this Earth. Very wise he knows what is talking about. I hope our cabinet can learn thing or two. Khaya, keep on doing right things, if you nominate for president, I will support you, you can make the difference.
    Cheers!

I am glad that you seem able to make a living from your talents. You have a wicked turn of phrase and use that to present your views largely without causing offense. If someone like you cannot make a living in the media when tabloid rags are making moolah then I have no hope for us as a species.

I look forward to reading your stuff and have not yet been disappointed. Here’s to a stellar career for you.
